This is the opening screen. Here you select to study a particular group of questions or to take a practice exam. |
From this screen you select the group you wish to study. The last one you studied will always be in red. You can click on another group or press 'ENTER' to select the highlighted group. |
When a group is selected, practice questions start to be displayed. The top line shows how many study questions there are in the group. The program will randomly go through all questions in the group (in this case 85 questions). Some questions refer to a figure or drawing. If it does, click on the 'Show Figure' button or press 'ENTER' to see the figure. |
When you display a figure this is what it will look like. As noted on the small figure window, you must close it by clicking on the red 'X' or pressing 'ENTER' to continue and answer the question. |
To answer the question, click on A,B,C, or D at the bottom left. Alternately you may press the letter on the keyboard. Then click the 'Submit Answer' button or press 'ENTER.' |
If you are correct it will indicate such at the top. If wrong, it will tell you what was the correct answer. If sound in turned on (under the 'Setup' in the top menu), you also get an audible indication of right or wrong. If it annoys you, turn it off! Click on 'Next Question' or press 'ENTER' to go to the next question. |
This is what it looks like if you answer wrong. |
After the last question in the study group you will get a score of what percentage of the questions you anwered correctly. If you want to review the question you missed, click on the 'Yes' button, otherwise press 'No.' |
At the conclusion of a practice exam of 50 questions, you will get this scorecard to see how you did overall (Composite Score) and how you did on each group. This way you can spot weakness and go back and study those particular groups until satified with the results. |
